These are some duck eggs we got a while back from Cirrus Hill farms. We bought them at The 100 Mile Market in Meaford and i thought they were so beautiful that i wanted to show everyone. Delicious too!
The seedlings have been started. This handy little soil block maker really saved alot of time and space AND materials this spring. There is another one that makes a larger set of blocks with an indent the size of these little guys. So once the seedlings have established themselves, you just drop the blocks into the bigger blocks and that will house/feed them until they are ready to go into the ground. This way we don't have to buy coir pots or use cups like last year and they take up half of the trays so we don't need as much space. Pretty smart engineering. These are some tomato seeds going in.
